About African Art

Chris & Ellen Casalena are the owners of the business. They both studied art before meeting in the advertising industry. They currently own and manage Imagine Creative Services & Digital. A small creative studio business in Cape Town, South Africa that has operated successfully for the past 12 years.  They have outstanding relationships with artists of all types. They love art, photography and videography and their passion is about making the African artist the hero. Chris Casalena was born in the Congo (Lubumbashi). His father was Italian and mother Belgian. He later grew up in South Africa but has kept his French speaking heritage. This has helped him enormously in communicating to African artists across the continent.
